Scope

This privacy policy explains how WePlay Media and Technology Joint Stock Company ("we", "us") handles information in our mobile applications, including Bắt Chữ for iOS, and on weplay.vn.

What information do we collect?

- Advertising identifier (IDFA). Only if you allow it through the iOS tracking permission prompt. If you do not allow it, this identifier is not available to us or to our advertising partner.
- Device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, approximate region derived from your IP address, and network type.
- Advertising interaction data such as which ads were requested, displayed, viewed to completion, or tapped.
- Randomly generated identifiers. The app creates a random user identifier and device identifier on your device. They are not derived from any hardware identifier and are not shared with data brokers.
- Game progress such as your current level, Ruby balance and sound settings. This is stored on your device only.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, precise location, contacts, photos or payment information. The app has no registration, sign-in or payment feature.

What do we use your information for?

- To display advertisements through Google AdMob, which is how the app is funded.
- To measure advertising performance and to detect invalid or fraudulent ad activity.
- To deliver game level content and to keep your progress on your device.

Advertising and third parties

We use Google AdMob to serve ads and the Google User Messaging Platform to collect consent where it is required. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it receives and may combine data from this app with data from other apps and websites in order to show personalised ads and to measure their performance. This is what Apple describes as "tracking".

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with data brokers.

Your choices

- Tracking. The first time you open the app, iOS asks whether the app may track you. You can change your answer at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. If tracking is off, the app still shows ads, but they are non-personalised.
- Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. A consent form is shown before any ads are requested, and no personalised ads are served unless you agree.
- Deleting your data. All game progress is stored on your device. Deleting the app removes it permanently, along with the randomly generated identifiers. Reinstalling the app creates new identifiers.

Data retention

Game progress and identifiers are kept on your device until you delete the app. Data received by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own policy, linked above.

Do we use cookies?

The app does not use cookies.

Third party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services in our products, including advertisements. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our products and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

Changes to our privacy policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page and update the date shown at the top.
